About this Role
We are seeking a highly experienced project delivery professional to lead and manage large-scale application development programmes within the telecommunications domain. This role focuses on delivering projects within defined KPIs, driving customer engagement, and establishing effective project management frameworks. The individual will operate within Agile environments, oversee programme delivery, and contribute to organisational improvements while mentoring emerging project management talent.
What you’ll do
- Lead assigned programmes and projects to successful completion within defined KPIs such as budget, quality, and risk management
- Develop and implement detailed project management plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation
- Drive strong customer engagement, ensuring alignment with expectations and delivery outcomes
- Establish milestones and execute structured action plans to achieve project objectives
- Define and enhance project management frameworks and operating models as required
- Contribute to RFP/RFI processes for new business opportunities
- Guide and support junior project professionals, enabling capability development within the team
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives at organisational or service line level
- Motivate and support team members in achieving shared goals through effective collaboration
Who you are
- Extensive experience managing application development projects valued at USD 2–5 million
- Strong understanding of BIBDA and BSS domains within telecommunications
- Proven experience in programme management and Agile delivery frameworks
- Expertise in estimation, productivity optimisation, and delivery planning
- 13–18 years of overall professional experience, including 8–10 years in project/programme management roles
- Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project (MPP), Slack, Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or SAFe (preferred)
- Educational background in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
