About this Role

We are seeking a performance testing specialist to deliver high-quality testing services across telecom platforms, services, and components within a global, multi-vendor environment. The role focuses on planning, scripting, executing, and analysing performance tests, while ensuring adherence to agreed standards, timelines, and service levels. The individual will contribute to continuous improvement, test automation, and the development of scalable testing methodologies across cloud, CRM, and middleware domains.

What you’ll do

Define appropriate test strategies based on telecom technology stacks, delivery approaches, and strategic initiatives
Plan, coordinate, and execute performance testing activities to meet project milestones and quality objectives
Develop dynamic scripts and realistic scenarios; execute performance tests and analyse outcomes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve performance issues and ensure high-quality deliverables
Maintain and apply testing standards, metrics, processes, and reporting practices
Enhance automation levels and promote reuse of test assets such as scripts and datasets
Develop and maintain Non-Functional Testing (NFT) strategies aligned with project risks and timelines
Perform volumetric analysis and evaluate non-functional requirements
Utilise performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, and SOAP UI across multiple protocols
Work within CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub, and Maven
Monitor and profile application performance using APM tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or similar
Analyse system performance including JVM, database behaviour, and application metrics
Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Identify process improvements and contribute to best practices and lessons learned

Who you are

Experienced in performance testing within telecom or large-scale enterprise environments
Knowledgeable in cloud platforms (AWS, OCI), microservices, and containerisation technologies such as Kubernetes
Proficient in scripting and programming basics (e.g., Java, C, SQL, shell scripting)
Skilled in analysing system architecture including JVM, databases, and thread behaviour
Familiar with monitoring and profiling tools for deep performance analysis
Able to work effectively in a multicultural, matrix organisation
Demonstrates strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Methodical, quality-focused, and solution-oriented in approach
Comfortable working in evolving environments and managing change
Fluent in English and open to occasional international travel
