About this Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Platform Engineer specialising in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure. This role involves working closely with development, security, and operations teams to enable cloud-native solutions, automate infrastructure, and support application migrations to GCP. You will also ensure compliance, cost optimisation, and security best practices across environments.

What you will do

  • Design and implement GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.
  • Configure and manage IAM roles, service accounts, and VPC networking.
  • Ensure security best practices, compliance, and cost optimisation across GCP environments.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues and provide on-call support as needed.

Who you are

  • 6–10 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering and DevOps.
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
  • Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, load balancers, and DNS in cloud environments.
  • Experience with Datawarehouse and ETL concepts.Graduate/Postgraduate in technical streams (Engineering preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in global teams.
  • Knowledge of cloud security, identity management, and cost governance.
  • GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, DevOps Engineer) are desirable.
