About this Role
We are seeking a seasoned Cloud DevOps and AI Engineering Lead with extensive experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), DevOps practices, and deploying AI/ML and GenAI models in production environments. This role demands a strong technical foundation, leadership experience, and a commitment to responsible AI and data governance. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving innovation, automation, and scalable cloud-native solutions across our enterprise.
What you’ll do
- Lead the design, deployment, and management of AI/ML and GenAI models using GCP services such as Vertex AI, Kubeflow, and BigQuery.
- Champion DevOps best practices across CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, and Spinnaker.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Google Deployment Manager, and Ansible.
- Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes (GKE preferred), Docker, and Helm.
- Establish robust monitoring and logging frameworks using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Google Cloud Operations Suite.
- Drive automation and scripting using Python, Bash, and Go to streamline operations.
- Ensure compliance with security standards including IAM, VPC, secrets management, and frameworks such as SOC2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed responsible AI practices and model lifecycle governance.
Who you are
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in DevOps/cloud roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Certified in GCP (e.g., Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Cloud Architect).
- Proven experience deploying and managing AI/ML and GenAI models in production.
- Strong understanding of data governance, model lifecycle management, and ethical AI principles.
- Deep expertise in GCP services and modern DevOps toolchains.
- Skilled in scripting, automation, and cloud-native architecture.
