Role Purpose:

As a Product Owner in a SAFe Agile environment, you will be responsible for maximizing the value of telecom application products developed by Agile teams. You will act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that the product backlog is aligned with strategic goals and customer needs. This role demands a strong understanding of telecom systems, agile delivery, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

 

1.     Backlog Ownership & Prioritization:

  • Define, refine, and prioritize the team backlog in alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Translate highlevel product features into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure backlog items are visible, transparent, and understood by all stakeholders.

2.     Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with Business Product Managers, Architects, and Operations to shape the product roadmap.
  • Act as the voice of the customer and business within the Agile Release Train (ART).
  • Participate in PI (Program Increment) Planning and other SAFe ceremonies.

 

Desirable Certifications:

 

 Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM)
 Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
 Agile Business Analyst or equivalent
