About this Role

 

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to deliver high-quality software testing across functional, integration, and automation domains. This role involves close collaboration with developers, product owners, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC to ensure robust test coverage, early defect detection, and continuous improvement of quality practices. The role requires strong hands-on experience in Selenium with Java, API testing, and performance testing tools such as JMeter, alongside a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

What you’ll do

 

  • Execute manual and automated tests to validate software releases
  • Design, create, and maintain automation test suites and documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and define test strategies
  • Participate in product design reviews to ensure testability and identify potential risks
  • Perform functional, end-to-end, and integration testing
  • Conduct API testing and validate response codes and headers
  • Develop automation frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, and TestNG
  • Support load and performance testing using JMeter
  • Contribute to CI/CD integration and automated deployment practices
  • Maintain test traceability, reporting, and documentation
  • Proactively identify blockers, troubleshoot issues, and support defect resolution
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA practice

Who you are

 

  • An experienced QA professional with 4+ years in manual and automation testing
  • Skilled in Selenium with Java and familiar with Cucumber, TestNG, and JMeter
  • Knowledgeable in API testing and HTTP protocols
  • Experienced in tools such as Eclipse, Maven, Jenkins, Git, and ticketing systems like Jira or Remedy
  • Familiar with Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
  • Comfortable working in Agile environments such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
  • A proactive problem-solver with strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • An effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
  • Familiar with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot
