About this Role
What you’ll do
Lease Contract Management
- Create, amend, renew, terminate, and maintain lease contracts within SAP RE-FX.
- Ensure lease agreements are accurately recorded in accordance with contractual documentation and agreed terms.
- Validate lease master data, payment conditions, accounting parameters, and authorisation controls.
- Maintain data quality and compliance throughout the lease lifecycle.
Financial Accounting & Compliance
- Ensure accurate accounting of lease transactions in line with IFRS 16 and Vodafone accounting policies.
- Monitor lease-related postings, accruals, reclassifications, and month-end accounting activities.
- Support Balance Sheet Reconciliation activities and investigate aged or outstanding items.
- Analyse and resolve accounting discrepancies relating to lease contracts and vendor balances.
- Maintain strong financial controls and compliance standards.
Invoice & Payment Management
- Manage landlord invoice processing and payment activities.
- Support resolution of blocked invoices, payment exceptions, and vendor account reconciliation issues.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Treasury, and Local Market Finance teams to ensure timely settlements and issue resolution.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare operational and financial reports relating to lease portfolios.
- Analyse key performance indicators, ageing reports, open items, and exception reports.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Support management reporting requirements and business reviews.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a key point of contact for German market stakeholders, landlords, local finance teams, and cross-functional departments.
- Collaborate with R2R, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Tax, and business teams to resolve operational challenges.
- Participate in governance meetings and provide updates on critical activities, risks, and resolutions.
Continuous Improvement & Projects
- Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and process enhancements.
- Support implementation of new accounting requirements and system improvements.
- Participate in e-Invoicing, SAP S/4HANA, RE-FX enhancement, and compliance-related initiatives.
- Contribute to transformation projects that improve efficiency, control, and user experience.
Who you are
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of IFRS 16 Lease Accounting.
- Hands-on experience with SAP RE-FX and SAP FI.
- Understanding of Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Balance Sheet Reconciliation processes.
- Experience supporting month-end closing activities and financial controls.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, reporting, and data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- Experience in a Shared Services or BPO environment.
- Knowledge of German real estate and lease accounting processes would be advantageous.
