About this Role

We are seeking a finance professional to support accurate and timely real estate lease accounting and reporting activities in Pune. This role sits within Finance and focuses on end-to-end contract management, lease accounting operations, monthly valuation postings, balance sheet reconciliations, month-end activities, and compliance reporting. The individual will apply knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standard 16 (IFRS 16), work with lease accounting processes and systems, and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to resolve issues, maintain controls, and deliver high-quality reporting outcomes.

What you’ll do

Manage real estate accounting operations in line with IFRS 16 principles and internal control requirements.Deliver end-to-end lease contract management, including contract set-up, contact creation, modifications, approvals, and related transaction processing.Ensure lease contract creation and modification activities are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.Complete monthly valuation postings for all eligible leases with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness.Support internal and external financial reporting, compliance activities, balance sheet reconciliations, month-end close tasks, analysis, troubleshooting, and process coordination.Communicate accounting updates clearly, assess the impact of new procedures, and support continuous process quality in day-to-day operations.Carry out other job-related activities assigned by the supervisor in support of team priorities.

Who you are

You bring sound knowledge of IFRS 16 and practical experience in accounting and financial analysis.You have hands-on experience with SAP, with knowledge of SAP Real Estate Management (RE-FX) viewed favourably.You are confident in data analysis and exploration, with strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power Platform tools.You communicate clearly in written and spoken English and can work effectively with a range of stakeholders.You demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills, with the ability to work accurately to deadlines.
