About this Role

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join the ARC RTR Northern Hub team in Pune. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end operational expenditure (Opex) accounting and reporting processes, ensuring compliance with Vodafone accounting policies, IFRS standards, SOX requirements, and agreed service levels. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to deliver accurate month-end reporting, drive process improvements, support automation initiatives, and maintain strong financial controls.

What you’ll do

Manage, review, drive and report monthly Opex numbers for key stakeholders within reporting deadlines.Own the end-to-end Opex process for the assigned area of responsibility.Perform accounting activities in line with stakeholder requirements, Vodafone accounting policies, and IFRS standards.Deliver agreed SLAs and KPIs consistently and accurately.Ensure full compliance with SOX guidelines and maintain zero tolerance towards SOX control failures.Support month-end, half-year-end and year-end close activities and deliverables.Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships across the organisation.Identify opportunities for process simplification, standardisation and automation.Enhance functional knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the RTR function.

Who you are

  • hartered Accountant with 1 to 3 years of experience.
OR
  • CA Inter, MBA or B.Com graduate with relevant accounting domain experience and professional exposure.
OR
  • Cost and Management Accountant with relevant experience.
Additionally, you will bring:
  • Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of financial reporting principles.
  • Knowledge of Oracle and SAP systems.
  • Experience within Record to Report (RTR) processes.
  • Understanding of SOX controls and compliance requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and process ownership mindset.
  • Effective stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Logical, organised, articulate and numerate approach to work.
  • Ability to review processes critically and identify opportunities for improvement.
