About this Role
We are seeking a highly experienced professional to join our Risk, Assurance and Controls (RAC) team, which plays a pivotal role as the second line of defence for Vodafone Group. This role is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing quality reviews and end-to-end testing of controls around high-risk Vodafone policies. The individual will work closely with Group Policy Champions and senior stakeholders across geographies to ensure the effectiveness of compliance controls, identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to a robust control environment. This position is based in Pune or Ahmedabad.
What you’ll do
- Lead assurance planning and monitoring activities across high-risk policy areas.
- Supervise and review testing performed by team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Conduct complex control testing and provide value-added insights to enhance the review process.
- Act as the primary liaison for Policy Champions and Compliance Officers, offering regular feedback and improvement suggestions.
- Track and monitor mitigation actions to ensure timely closure of identified gaps.
- Prepare and present clear, concise reports for management and compliance boards.
- Foster a strong risk community within the second line of defence and support business objectives.
Who you are
- Chartered Accountant (preferred), Company Secretary, or holder of a recognised professional auditing or legal qualification.
- 9+ years of post-qualification experience in quality assurance, compliance management, or controls testing.
- Proven expertise in control testing, assurance planning, and compliance policy frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across geographies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex business requirements and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
- Adept at project management, analytical thinking, and driving innovation.
- Comfortable working across time zones and adapting to changing environments.
