What you’ll do

The Risk and Compliance Specialist focuses upon the provision of advice and administration and provides services to ensure Vodafone manages its risks appropriately, complying with the regulatory requirements of a publicly listed company and acting responsibly towards employees, customers, shareholders, suppliers and other key partners within the markets in which Vodafone operates. The Risk and Compliance Specialist delivers tasks and activities which ensure that Vodafone has adequate risk management programmes in place and is compliant with all applicable laws, rules and regulations through focusing on risk management policy governance and processes, monitoring and reporting risks and maintaining controls and compliance. Typically reports to the Risk and Compliance Manager.

Who you are

* Delivers day-to-day aspects Risk and Compliance, reviewing, creating awareness, training and administration, as well as recommending improvements and implementing systems and controls within markets.�Has a good understanding of Risk and Compliance procedures and concepts and advices on processes and activities to ensure a consistent approach across markets to managing risks, protecting reputation, improving efficiency and driving growth;

* Supports the team to deliver operations and activities of the Risk and Compliance function to ensure Vodafone adherence to required standards and legislation (e.g. SOX requirements);

* Delivers assigned tasks to support with ensuring the company has the necessary and appropriate BCM in place, with a process of creating systems of prevention and recovery to enable ongoing operations before and during execution of disaster recovery;

* �� Effectively interacts with colleagues and partners and exchanges complex ideas and information effectively and in a concise and logical way;

* Performs other job-related duties or tasks defined by the supervisor or resulting from assigned agendas.
