About this Role

We are seeking a Salesforce Tester Offshore to support testing across Salesforce projects within the Telco IT – BSS/CRM function. This role focuses on designing and executing test strategies, validating user stories, and ensuring high-quality delivery through structured defect tracking and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The role is based in Pune and contributes to the full Salesforce lifecycle, ensuring robust and efficient testing practices.

What you’ll do

 

  • Understand user stories and derive detailed test cases and testing tasks
  • Create, maintain, and execute test scenarios aligned with requirements and change sets
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, specifications, and business rules
  • Support defect identification, tracking, and participate in triage discussions
  • Prepare, manage, and manipulate test data for accurate validation
  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and raise issues proactively
  • Contribute to peer reviews and knowledge-sharing initiatives
  • Support Salesforce lifecycle activities, including testing validation across releases
  • Collaborate with offshore and onshore teams to ensure seamless delivery, including Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, QA Leads, and Release Managers
  • Develop and maintain testing scripts and traceability matrices
  • Execute system and integration testing to ensure comprehensive coverage

 

Who you are

  • Experienced in Salesforce testing with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role
  • Able to analyse requirements and identify, document, and raise technical defects based on best practices
  • Skilled in test case creation, execution, and scenario design
  • Familiar with testing tools such as Mercury Quality Center, Jira, and Confluence
  • Knowledgeable in Salesforce features, Sales Cloud, and Marketing Cloud
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator (required)
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant certification (preferred)
  • Understanding of test automation concepts and tools such as Selenium, Provar, Tosca, or Copado testing frameworks
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work on complex systems
  • A collaborative team contributor with clear communication skills
  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science/IT preferred)
