About this Role

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with strong expertise across Core ABAP, ABAP on HANA, and modern SAP technologies such as Fiori and BTP. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys solving complex business challenges, contributing across the full development lifecycle, and working within implementation and automation-driven programmes, particularly in S/4HANA environments.

What you’ll do

Contribute across all phases of the SAP development lifecycle, from design through to deployment and support.Design, develop, test, and optimise efficient, high-quality ABAP solutions aligned with technical and functional specifications.Develop and enhance Core ABAP objects including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.Build and optimise ABAP on HANA artefacts such as CDS views, AMDP, and IDA-based solutions.Develop and consume OData services and support SAP UI5/Fiori applications.Collaborate on implementation projects for S/4HANA, ensuring code compatibility and performance optimisation.Support continuous improvement by evaluating alternative technologies and contributing to architectural reviews.Apply advanced troubleshooting and debugging techniques to resolve complex technical issues.

Who you are

Proficient in SAP ABAP with strong object-oriented programming expertise.Experienced in Core ABAP development including ALV reports (classical and interactive), interfaces (ALE, IDOC, Proxy), BAPI and BDC-based conversions, enhancements (user exits, BADIs, implicit and explicit), and forms (Adobe Forms and Smart Forms).Hands-on experience with ABAP on HANA, including CDS, AMDP, OData, and code remediation for S/4HANA compatibility.Familiar with modern SAP technologies such as SAP UI5/Fiori, SAP PI/CPI, API Management, and BTP.Exposure to RAP, CAPM, CDS Extensions, automation development projects, and emerging areas such as machine learning is valued.Functional experience across SAP FICO, SCM, and HR modules.Demonstrates strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capability, and a collaborative mindset.
