About this Role

We are seeking a seasoned SAP BTP Consultant to lead the implementation, integration, and ongoing management of SAP Business Technology Platform solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong stakeholder engagement abilities, and the capacity to drive strategic adoption of BTP across the organisation. The individual will focus on developing cloud-native applications, coordinating cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring seamless delivery of BTP solutions aligned with business needs.

What you will do

  • Define and establish the strategic direction for SAP BTP implementation, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and industry best practices.
  • Drive the development and execution of a comprehensive BTP adoption plan that enhances awareness, engagement, and capability building across teams.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, technology partners, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless BTP integration and high-quality solution delivery.
  • Manage and optimise resource utilisation to successfully deliver BTP projects within defined timelines and scope.
  • Continuously track project progress, identify risks, and implement necessary adjustments to support successful outcomes.
  • Independently develop, design, and maintain SAP UI5/Fiori and cloud-native applications.
  • Work on SAP BTP services including Cloud Foundry, BAS, mobility services, XSUAA security, and app router configurations.
  • Develop using CAP, CDS, SQLScript, HANA native development, and secure coding principles.
  • Perform debugging, tracing, data modelling, and build calculation views with strong understanding of cloud security and DB roles/privileges.
  • Execute Fiori launchpad configurations and prepare detailed technical specifications.

Who you are

  • An individual with at least 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP UI5/Fiori development and CAP-based applications on SAP BTP.
  • Skilled in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, SAPUI5, Fiori, Node.js, CDS, and cloud-native development concepts.
  • Knowledgeable in SAP Cloud Integration, ABAP development (advantageous), and mobile services.
  • Experienced in designing secure applications using XSUAA, app routers, and SAP cloud standard services.
  • Competent in SQL Script, PL/SQL, stored procedures, calculation views, and debugging using logs/traces.
  • Strong in stakeholder collaboration, communication, and strategic planning.
  • Experienced in SAP BTP implementation and multi-team coordination.
