About this Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis & HANA professional with strong exposure to SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) administration. This role involves managing and optimising SAP landscapes across on-premise and cloud ecosystems, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. Based in Pune, Bangalore, or Ahmedabad, the individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support critical business systems, and contribute to enterprise data and analytics platforms within a dynamic telecom environment.

What you’ll do

Administer SAP systems including SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, and BW/4HANA landscapesConduct system installations, upgrades, kernel patching, and migrationsManage SAP transport systems (CTS/CTS+), ChaRM, and change management processesPerform user administration, security configuration (SSO, SAML, OAuth), and compliance activitiesMonitor and optimise system performance using Solution Manager, CCMS, and EarlyWatch reportsManage backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery strategies for SAP and HANA systemsAdminister SAP BTP services, Cloud Connector, IAS, IPS, and Cloud ALMOversee SAP Datasphere tenant, space, connectivity, governance, and performance optimisationSupport SAP Analytics Cloud including tenant management, content lifecycle, security, and performancePerform HANA database administration, including system replication, performance tuning, and monitoringManage integrations across SAP and non-SAP platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, SQL Server, etc.)Automate administrative activities using scripting (SQL, Python, shell, Ansible)Handle incident, problem, and change management aligned with ITIL practicesMaintain documentation, runbooks, and system architecture artefactsCollaborate with stakeholders across business, data, and technology teams

Who you are

Experienced in SAP Basis and SAP HANA administration across enterprise environmentsStrong knowledge of SAP Datasphere (spaces, roles, connections, monitoring) and SAC administrationFamiliar with SSO/SAML, identity integration (Azure AD/Okta), and access control frameworksSkilled in performance monitoring, query optimisation, and system troubleshootingKnowledgeable in SAP BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, CDS views, and database technologiesExperienced in scripting and automation for operational efficiencyFamiliar with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and ITIL processesDemonstrates strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilityCommunicates effectively with both technical and business stakeholdersAble to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentExposure to telecom and data warehousing concepts is advantageous
