About this Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to plan, govern, and execute change management activities across SAP-based programmes (S/4, BW, SAC, Datasphere). This role ensures seamless transition of system and process changes into production with minimal disruption, aligned with ITIL practices and Vodafone’s governance frameworks. Based in Pune, this is a high-visibility role requiring strong stakeholder engagement across global teams and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

What you’ll do

 
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of change requests from initiation through to production deployment
  • Ensure compliance with established change processes, including approvals, testing, retrofitting, and closure
  • Prioritise and classify changes (standard, normal, emergency) with associated risk assessments
  • Facilitate and contribute to Change Advisory Board discussions
  • Act as a central point of coordination between business, IT, and delivery teams
  • Collaborate with product owners, release leads, and solution teams for approvals and execution readiness
  • Plan and oversee deployments across environments, ensuring readiness for production movement
  • Coordinate testing activities, user acceptance, and defect resolution prior to go-live
  • Identify, manage, and escalate risks while ensuring adherence to compliance and audit requirements
  • Communicate change status, risks, and key updates through dashboards, reports, and governance forums

Who you are

 
  • Experience of 4–6 years in SAP Analytics or IT change management
  • Strong understanding of ITIL practices and change governance processes
  • Experience working across infrastructure or application change environments (on-premise or cloud)
  • Ability to facilitate governance forums such as CAB and drive collaborative decision-making
  • Proven stakeholder management skills with exposure to global teams
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with SDLC processes and telecom domain knowledge is beneficial
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and respond effectively to risks and challenges
