About this Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented SAP Compliance Analyst to join our Finance Operations Controls and Risk Management team in Pune. This role is central to ensuring governance and compliance across Vodafone’s global SAP user access landscape, supporting over 100,000 users across 20+ countries. The individual will manage compliance policies, oversee SOX controls, and maintain the GRC rule set to mitigate access risks. The role demands strong analytical capabilities, SAP GRC expertise, and a governance-focused mindset to ensure secure and compliant access to critical business systems.

What you will do

  • Govern role design and user access requests through compliance reviews.
  • Maintain and enhance the SAP GRC rule set, ensuring completeness and relevance.
  • Define and implement mitigation strategies for access violations.
  • Manage fire fighter master data and ensure control completeness.
  • Lead the development and delivery of the compliance roadmap.
  • Review access risk simulations and determine appropriate actions.
  • Ensure all user processes align with Global IT and SOX controls.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors, SOX controllers, and process experts.

Who you are

  • Possess detailed knowledge of SAP authorisations and SAP GRC (preferably certified).
  • Experienced in maintaining GRC rule sets and assigning mitigation controls.
  • Skilled in translating access risks into SAP transaction and permission settings.
  • Strong communicator with advanced written English and analytical thinking.
  • Able to work under pressure in a global environment with a governance mindset.
