About this Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Developer to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade analytics solutions that support data-driven decision-making within FinOps. Based in Pune EON and reporting to Mayuri Udgirkar, this role plays a key part in Vodafone’s enterprise analytics strategy by leveraging SAP Datasphere as the central data modelling and semantic layer and SAP Analytics Cloud as the unified analytics and visualisation platform.
The successful candidate will translate complex business requirements into scalable analytics solutions, delivering trusted insights through robust data models, harmonised KPIs, and intuitive dashboards. The role offers the opportunity to work across FinOps, Supply Chain Management, and Logistics domains while collaborating with global stakeholders in an agile environment.

What you’ll do

Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise data and analytics solutions using SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Google Cloud BigQuery, and PL/SQL.Develop and maintain Apache Airflow DAGs to orchestrate data workflows and processing pipelines.Apply DevOps practices to support reliable development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of analytics solutions.Build data models and analytics solutions that enable process mining and business analytics use cases.Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable, business-ready solutions.Support analytics requirements across FinOps, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Logistics functions where applicable.Contribute to solution quality through effective development, testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.Work within SAP data and analytics landscapes, leveraging experience across SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BW/4HANA, and SAP S/4HANA environments where relevant.Enable both standardised reporting and self-service analytics capabilities for business stakeholders.Ensure consistency, accuracy, performance, and governance of analytics assets and KPI frameworks.

Who you are

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.Strong hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), including:
  • Story development
  • Dashboard and visualisation design
  • Calculated measures
  • Input controls
  • Performance optimisation
  • Security concepts
Proven hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere, including:
  • Data modelling
  • Semantic layer design
  • Calculated columns and measures
  • Data validation
Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with complex datasets from SAP and non-SAP environments.Experience in delivering end-to-end analytics solutions from requirement gathering through development, UAT support, deployment, and hypercare.Practical experience with Google Cloud BigQuery, PL/SQL, and Apache Airflow.Understanding of FinOps business processes, including Procurement, Inventory, Order Fulfilment, Spend Analytics, and Supplier Analytics.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to transform complex business requirements into scalable analytics solutions.Detail-oriented approach to data modelling, KPI design, and dashboard development.Ability to collaborate effectively with business users, product owners, and cross-functional teams.Ownership mindset with accountability for solution quality, documentation, and support.Experience working within agile delivery models and managing multiple priorities across global stakeholders.Commitment to continuous improvement, standardisation, reusability, and performance optimisation.
