We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Lead to provide end-to-end technical leadership across large-scale SAP programmes. This role combines deep hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP and modern SAP development paradigms with strong people leadership and stakeholder engagement. The individual will play a critical role in solution design, integration strategy, delivery governance, and technical decision-making, while mentoring teams and representing SAP delivery in senior forums.

Lead SAP ABAP and Advanced/RESTful ABAP development, including RICEFW objects, Object-Oriented ABAP, CDS Views, RAP, OData services, AMDP, workflows, and performance optimisation.Deliver full-stack SAP solutions spanning Fiori/UI5, ABAP backend components, SAP BTP services, and diverse integration scenarios.Own solution architecture, technical design, effort estimation, proposal development, and VIA submissions for strategic initiatives.Drive automation and innovation-led development to improve delivery efficiency and enhance user experience.Manage and mentor a team of approximately 10 technical consultants, ensuring quality outcomes, effective task allocation, and continuous capability growth.Represent technical delivery in forums such as TDA calls, ITPM discussions, SPDA and security reviews, and change management boards.Establish and maintain robust delivery governance, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.Act as the primary technical point of contact for senior stakeholders and external partners.Contribute to capability building, hiring, and ongoing competency development across SAP technologies.

A technology professional with 15+ years of overall IT experience, including at least 7 years in SAP technical leadership roles.Deep expertise in SAP ABAP and Advanced ABAP, including enhancements, BADIs, BAPIs, CDS, RAP, OData, AMDP, and workflows.Experienced in multiple full-cycle SAP implementations and large, enterprise-grade SAP programmes.Proficient in full-stack SAP development combining Fiori/UI5, ABAP backend, SAP BTP services, and integration layers.Knowledgeable in SAP APIM and PI/CPI for SAP and non-SAP integrations.Demonstrates delivery excellence in solution design, estimation, automation, and governance frameworks such as VROM, VMC, and TDA.A confident communicator with strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.Familiar with ITPM, SPDA, and change governance processes.Desirable exposure to Clean Core principles, API-first design, event-driven architecture, Event Mesh, and SAP BTP workflow and extension capabilities.Desirable understanding of SAP security, compliance requirements, and innovation-driven delivery improvements.
