About this Role
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master and Test Delivery Lead to support agile delivery and end-to-end testing services within a telecommunications environment. This role is responsible for enabling high-performing agile teams, coordinating offshore testing delivery across multiple projects, and ensuring platforms, services, and components are tested to agreed milestones, quality standards, and service levels. The role combines Scrum Master responsibilities with overall test management, working closely with Product Owners, testers, and programme stakeholders in a global, multi-cultural environment.
What you’ll do
- Deliver testing services across projects and workstreams, ensuring agreed milestones, quality standards, and timelines are achieved
- Prepare and support test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test execution activities in line with agreed standards and service levels
- Manage and coordinate offshore test delivery for agile teams across multiple projects
- Support the Offshore Product Owner and testers to ensure smooth project delivery and resolution of escalated issues
- Ensure accurate project and release-level status reporting for Vodafone stakeholders
- Coordinate and moderate agile team ceremonies and participate in programme-level Scrum meetings
- Review estimations created by the team during PI Planning and Sprint Planning
- Support the team’s progress towards sprint and programme goals by removing impediments and reinforcing team rules
- Promote SAFe quality practices and support adoption of agile ways of working across the team
- Coordinate with other agile teams and contribute to organisational effectiveness
- Facilitate preparation and readiness for Agile Release Train events
- Support closure of stories, features, enablers, risks, and issues in scope
- Contribute to knowledge management, lessons learnt, and continuous improvement of testing methods and approaches
- Review and support key client-facing programme deliverables created by programme management
Who you are
- You have 4 to 6 years of experience in test management across telecommunications environments or as a Scrum Master in large agile projects
- You hold SAFe Scrum Master certification or similar relevant certification, with ISTQB being advantageous
- You have experience in Behaviour-Driven Development and Acceptance Test-Driven Development
- You have strong knowledge of end-to-end testing across front-end and back-end telco systems, including CRM, fulfilment, care, sales, billing, and customer communication journeys
- You have experience testing software in cloud and local environments using tools such as Bitbucket, Sonatype Nexus, Jenkins, Docker, Jira Xray, and Confluence
- You understand Telecom CRM journeys and customer-facing service flows
- You are confident in reporting, structured documentation, and knowledge management activities
- You have strong knowledge of system, integration, and regression testing in complex telco environments
- You communicate effectively across technical, delivery, and stakeholder groups and work well within international, matrix-based teams
- You are fluent in English and comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment, including intermittent travel where required
