About this Role

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation professional to ensure end‑to‑end product quality across web applications and APIs. This role focuses on designing, executing, and continuously improving manual and automated testing strategies within Agile delivery teams. The individual will play a critical role in embedding quality into CI/CD pipelines, strengthening test automation, performance testing, and supporting continuous improvement across products and services.

What you will do


  • Take ownership of end‑to‑end product quality through the development and continuous improvement of test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
  • Design, implement, and maintain manual and automated test suites for web applications and APIs.
  • Embed test automation into the software delivery pipeline using industry best practices.
  • Execute functional, regression, performance, and end‑to‑end tests for software releases.
  • Identify, log, track, and support the resolution of defects using enterprise ticketing systems.
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams during Agile ceremonies and product design reviews.
  • Analyse logs, trace defects, and support root‑cause analysis.
  • Contribute to improving existing testing tools, frameworks, and quality processes.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with internal and external testing communities.

Who you are

 

  • An experienced quality assurance professional with strong exposure to web frontend, backend, and API testing.
  • Proficient in manual and automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, JMeter, Cucumber, TestNG, SeeTest, and Frisby.
  • Comfortable working with HTTP protocols, headers, and response codes.
  • Experienced in performance and load testing, as well as end‑to‑end automation.
  • Skilled in Java programming with hands‑on exposure to CI/CD/CT pipelines and cloud environments.
  • Familiar with scripting (Bash) and basic SQL/NoSQL database concepts.
  • Experienced in Agile delivery models such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Confident using tools including Eclipse IDE, Maven, Jenkins, Git, and enterprise ticketing systems such as Jira, QA, or Remedy.
  • An effective communicator who collaborates well within diverse, cross‑functional teams.
  • Exposure to TDD, black‑box and white‑box testing methodologies, mock servers, and log analysis is advantageous.
