About this Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Engineering professional to lead testing delivery for services and programmes within the organisation. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality test outcomes, managing stakeholder expectations, driving efficiency through resource optimisation, and shaping the strategic direction for service expansion and new implementations. The individual will play a key role in aligning testing practices with business priorities, risks, and delivery timelines.

What you’ll do

Act as the primary testing expert for assigned applications across programmes and projects.
Define, review, and assure the quality of test strategies, scenarios, test cases, and regression coverage.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including development, architecture, product, delivery, and business teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
Support test teams and release management with estimation, capacity planning, environment readiness, deployment validation, and test data planning.
Identify, assess, and communicate quality risks, ensuring test approaches align with business impact and technical complexity.
Review test results, documentation, and audit-related artefacts to ensure compliance and quality standards.
Facilitate effective defect management, addressing escalations and ensuring clear root cause analysis and resolution pathways.
Contribute to quality approval decisions by providing technical and application-level insights ahead of production releases.
Coach and support teams on testing best practices, application knowledge, and business-critical workflows.
Ensure knowledge capture, documentation, and effective sharing across teams.
Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, identifying efficiencies and implementing best practices.
Provide inputs for automation strategies and non-functional testing improvements.

Who you are

An experienced testing professional with 10–14 years of experience in quality engineering.
Knowledgeable in telecom domain practices and testing methodologies.
Skilled in stakeholder engagement, reporting, and team collaboration.
Experienced in service delivery, process optimisation, and driving efficiency outcomes.
Familiar with Agile, SAFe, DevOps, and Waterfall delivery models.
Educated to degree level in software engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
