About this Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our Data Design team in India. This role focuses on building and maintaining product data models within the TMForum framework, ensuring data integrity and supporting scalable, cloud-based microservices architecture. You will work in a Scrum squad, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that power Vodafone’s digital channels used by millions globally.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and maintain product data models for telecom products aligned with TMForum standards.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple data sources.
  • Use advanced Excel functions for data analysis and management.
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate data models with BSS components.
  • Implement and optimise data models to support business processes and decision-making.
  • Manage APIs and JSON data structures for seamless data exchange.
  • Stay updated with industry standards and best practices, including TMForum frameworks.

Who you are

  • Experienced in product data modelling within the telecom industry.
  • Familiar with BSS components and telecom domain processes.
  • Strong knowledge of database management and data modelling.
  • Proficient in Excel functions with excellent analytical skills.
  • Effective communicator and team collaborator.

  • Bonus skills that will set you apart:

    • Experience with enterprise (B2B) products.
    • Scripting skills (Python, SQL).
    • Knowledge of APIs, JSON, and TMF standards.
