About this Role

We are seeking a highly capable IT Solution Architect to design and deliver integrated, end-to-end IT solutions that support Vodafone’s strategic growth across multiple operating markets. This role focuses on complex product development and customer solutions within a fast-evolving technology landscape, ensuring alignment with Vodafone’s global architecture standards.
The individual will act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing high-quality architectural designs that support development, testing, and deployment while driving innovation across telecom BSS/OSS domains.

What you’ll do

Design end-to-end solutions for new and enhanced products within Vodafone’s IT architecture, ensuring alignment to business needs, timelines, and cost objectives
Provide subject matter expertise across telecom BSS/OSS domains and ensure seamless integration across functional areas
Lead solution design activities and participate in design reviews to ensure compliance with target architecture
Contribute to IT architecture governance, ensuring alignment with Vodafone’s strategy and global vision
Develop key architecture deliverables including impact assessments, solution blueprints, high-level designs (HLDs), and solution intent documents
Support the full lifecycle from design through to deployment, including Sell/Build/Run assurance processes
Provide estimates for solution sizing, cost, and timelines using standard approaches
Collaborate across cross-functional teams, contributing to agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and backlog refinement
Share knowledge and best practices within the architecture community and with wider stakeholders
Ensure customer-centric design thinking, focusing on solution usability and experience

Who you are

Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in IT, including significant experience as a Solution Architect or Designer
Strong expertise in Telecom BSS and OSS systems
Knowledge of telecom products such as mobile or broadband solutions
Experience designing and delivering complex, cross-domain IT architectures
Familiarity with frameworks such as TOGAF, TM Forum (eTOM, TAM), OpenAPI, and UML is advantageous
Experience in transformation or migration programmes from legacy to modern platforms is beneficial
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
Ability to work effectively in agile environments (Scrum, SAFe) within cross-functional teams
A structured and analytical approach to problem-solving with sound judgement
