About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SQL, Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud Developer to join our Process Mining and Analytics DevOps team in Pune. The individual will work on complex SQL development, GCP BigQuery ETL processes, data modelling, and analytical dashboard creation. This role is suited to someone who excels in data management, system design, analytics engineering and cross‑functional collaboration, with an interest in process optimisation and scalable data solutions.

What you’ll do

Design, develop, and optimise complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
Ensure data integrity, system reliability and database performance across platforms.
Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver technical solutions.
Gather and document business requirements and translate them into robust technical specifications.
Design database schemas, tables, views, indexes, and architectural components that support analytics needs.
Implement database solutions and write efficient, maintainable SQL code.
Develop and maintain ETL pipelines, including ingestion and transformation processes.
Manage and optimise Google BigQuery workloads for both performance and cost efficiency.
Build dashboards, reports and analytical visualisations using SAP Analytics Cloud.
Support unit, integration and system testing activities, identifying and resolving defects promptly.
Prepare deployment packages and coordinate with DevOps and IT teams to deliver updates.
Provide ongoing production support, monitoring, troubleshooting and security maintenance.
Create and maintain thorough documentation for designs, processes and database artefacts.

Who you are

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7–10 years of SQL development experience.
Demonstrated experience in GCP BigQuery and ETL development.
Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (preferred).
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Familiarity with SDLC, CI/CD and Agile delivery methodologies (preferred).
