About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SQL, Datasphere & SAC Developer to join our Process Mining & Analytics DevOps team in Pune. This role is ideal for an individual with deep expertise in SQL development and GCP BigQuery–based ETL processes, who enjoys translating complex business requirements into scalable, high‑performance data and analytics solutions. Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), particularly analytical story building, will be an added advantage.

What you’ll do

Design, develop, optimise, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database functions.Ensure data integrity, performance optimisation, and reliability of SQL-based data platforms.Collaborate with data analysts, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand data and reporting needs.Gather and document detailed business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Design database schemas, tables, views, indexes, and supporting database objects.Build scalable data models and database architectures aligned with business objectives.Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using GCP BigQuery to ingest, process, and store large datasets.Optimise BigQuery solutions for performance and cost efficiency.Develop and execute unit tests, and support integration and system testing activities.Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects and performance issues.Prepare database deployment scripts and coordinate releases with DevOps and IT teams.Monitor production systems and provide ongoing maintenance and operational support.Implement database security, backup, and recovery procedures.Design and develop dashboards and analytical stories using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of analytics reports and visualisations.Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation for database designs, ETL processes, and analytics solutions.

Who you are

A graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.An experienced SQL professional with 7–10 years of hands-on development experience.Proficient in GCP BigQuery and large-scale ETL design and implementation.Experienced in translating business requirements into robust technical solutions.Familiar with database performance tuning, security, and data governance principles.Comfortable working within SDLC, CI/CD, and Agile delivery environments.A clear communicator who collaborates effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experienced in SAP Analytics Cloud development, particularly analytical story building (preferred).
