What you’ll do

The Pre-Sales Manager _VOIS role provides Pre-Sales support for low complexity customer requirements across a range of Vodafone Business solutions and services. This role is critical in our continued support and growth of the UK Business function by performing two key functions:

  1. In life customer quotations
  2. Supporting more senior Pre-Sales colleagues working on more complex opportunities.

The role will involve dealing with the full range of our fixed connectivity portfolio, although an understanding of our adjacent technologies including UC & Contact Centre, IoT, Security and Cloud based services would be desirable.

Ensuring that Customer Relationship Management processes/systems requirements are compliant.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

  • Translation of customer requirements into Vodafone products and services
  • Creation of clear and unambiguous quotes and capture all associated costs, technical elements required for each quote along with meeting related SLA.
  • Collation of all required information and supporting documentation and completion of the Order Capture Form to a high-quality standard then submission and follow-up until its picked up by delivery team coordinator.
  • Responsible for meeting all associated customer quote and Order submission Service Level Agreements
  • Work with supporting teams to guide where improvements to processes and tools can be made

Core competencies, knowledge, and experience

  • Commercial Acumen
  • An understanding of the IT Telecoms industry trends and drivers along with knowledge of Vodafone Business and its fixed line products and services
  • Experience working in a sales or customer facing role within the Technology/Telco sector and ability to work in virtual teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present solutions in a clear and concise manner along with Strong personal impact, self-disciplined and personal drive.
  • Significant problem-solving ability using innovation and initiative.

Must have technical / professional qualifications

 

  • Office 365, Excel, PowerPoint knowledge (Must have)
  • Experience of designing WAN solutions based on Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies (e.g. Ethernet Wireline, IPVPN / MPLS, SDWAN, Internet connectivity) (Must have)
  • Industry recognises network design certification e.g. Cisco CCNA or equivalent (Desirable)
  • Have experience of one or more key technologies such as LAN/UC/IOT/Cloud & Security (Desirable)
  • Knowledge or experience of the ITIL framework (Desirable)
