About this Role
What you’ll do
Contribute to the execution of the software development lifecycle, including development of assigned tasks
Design, develop and maintain API automation frameworks using Python, PyTest, Playwright and BDD
Perform API testing and ensure quality and performance of integrations
Actively participate as a member of internal and external project teams, representing the Technology Department
Collaborate with stakeholders to implement efficient and scalable automation solutions
Leverage AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch) and MongoDB in testing and integration scenarios
Work with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO) for streamlined delivery
Monitor industry trends to adopt best practices and enhance effectiveness
Conduct debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of applications
Ensure adherence to cloud security principles, IAM roles, and data protection standards
Who you are
3 to 6 years of experience in API integration and automation
Strong expertise in Python programming, with hands-on experience in PyTest, Playwright and BDD frameworks
Experience with API testing tools and methodologies
Proficiency in AWS services and working knowledge of MongoDB
Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Understanding of cloud security, IAM roles, and data protection practices
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimisation skills
Knowledge of the telecom domain
Educational background in IT or related disciplines (BE/B-Tech/MCA/Diploma in Advanced Computing)
Strong communication skills and fluency in English
Demonstrates adaptability, accountability, and a customer-focused mindset aligned with Vodafone values
