About this Role

What you will do
- Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Java, Selenium and Cucumber.
- Create and execute automated test cases to ensure comprehensive API and UI test coverage.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers and designers to understand requirements and clarify acceptance criteria.
- Integrate automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery practices.
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve automation framework, script and environment-related issues.
- Contribute to test automation standards, best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support and mentor team members in automation testing approaches and technologies.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are met across releases.
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Selenium for UI automation.
- Practical experience in API testing and automation using REST Assured or similar tools.
- Expertise in Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Good understanding of microservices architecture and messaging systems.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
