About this Role
What you’ll do
- Manage and support enterprise backup environments using Commvault and NetBackup tools
- Monitor backup success rates and ensure compliance with agreed SLAs and KPIs
- Perform troubleshooting for backup, restore, replication, and media management issues
- Conduct backup health checks, capacity planning, and performance optimisation
- Support incident, problem, and change management activities in line with ITIL practices
- Participate in disaster recovery (DR) planning, testing, and execution
- Validate data recoverability through restore testing and DR exercises
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during recovery events
- Contribute to automation initiatives and operational efficiency improvements
- Drive continuous service improvement through reporting and monitoring
- Support internal and external audits related to backup and recovery
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, recovery procedures, and technical standards
Who you are
- Knowledge and understanding of Commvault and NetBackup administration
- Experience in backup and recovery operations within enterprise environments
- Familiarity with ITIL-based incident and change management processes
- Ability to support disaster recovery planning and execution
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commvault Certified Professional (required)
