About this Role

We are seeking a highly experienced data analytics professional with deep expertise in telecom roaming, cloud-native data engineering, and modern analytics platforms. The individual will lead analytical delivery, shape scalable data models, and drive platform modernisation across Google Cloud Platform. This role suits someone who brings technical depth, strategic thinking, and strong stakeholder engagement capabilities to enable data‑driven decision-making.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and guide a team of data analysts, enabling delivery of high‑impact analytics solutions.
  • Design and implement scalable data models, including LookML models for Looker dashboards.
  • Apply DBT and Data Vault modelling techniques to develop robust and modern data architectures.
  • Build and maintain advanced data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform services such as BigQuery, Composer, Dataflow and Google Cloud Storage.
  • Ensure data integrity through reliable backup and recovery processes.
  • Modernise data lakes and data warehouses to meet evolving business needs.
  • Automate repetitive data activities to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather clear analytical requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Deliver strategic recommendations for effective data management and performance optimisation.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks across data platforms.
  • Maintain high levels of data quality through strong validation and monitoring practices.

Who you are

  • An individual with more than 10 years of data analytics experience, including 4+ years working with Google Cloud Platform and Looker.
  • Skilled in DBT, Data Vault modelling, and workflow orchestration using Airflow.
  • Proficient in Looker and Tableau for analytics visualisation and reporting.
  • Highly capable in SQL and Python programming.
  • Knowledgeable in telecom roaming processes and data flows.
  • Experienced in version control and work tracking tools such as GitHub and Jira.
  • Able to translate business requirements into meaningful, scalable analytics solutions.
  • Skilled in developing and optimising multi‑source data models.
