About this Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive OSS Application Support Specialist to join our Technology team in Pune. This role focuses on ensuring the stability and performance of Oracle-based provisioning applications, including OSM, ASAP, and UIM. The position involves managing critical incidents, supporting service continuity, and enhancing operational efficiency through automation in a 24x7 support environment.

What you’ll do

  • Manage Order and Service Management ticket triaging and resolution
  • Handle high-priority incidents (P1/P2) and ensure timely restoration of services
  • Support and maintain Oracle OSM, ASAP, and UIM provisioning applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain service continuity
  • Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify recurring technical issues
  • Apply ITIL practices including incident, problem, and change management
  • Work in a 24x7 support model to ensure uninterrupted service delivery

Who you are

  • An individual with at least 3 years of experience in Order Service Management
  • Familiar with telecom and IT service processes
  • Skilled in Unix/Linux and capable of writing shell scripts
  • Proficient in SQL with strong database query-writing skills
  • Experienced in application support, particularly in telecom environments
  • Knowledgeable in WebLogic and ticketing tools such as Remedy
  • Familiar with ITIL frameworks and operational processes
  • Comfortable engaging stakeholders and resolving recurring technical challenges
  • Open to working in a 24x7 shift environment
  • Exposure to monitoring tools such as AppDynamics or Dynatrace is advantageous
