Core Experience & Technical Skills

Experience: Minimum 2+ years as an Oracle DBA.
Database Administration: Proficient in managing Oracle standalone and RAC clustered environments (versions 11g, 12c, and 19c).
System Management: Skilled in software installations, version upgrades, configuration management, and advanced database configurations (RAC, ASM, RMAN, DG/DR).
Backup & Recovery: Daily backup and recovery services, including data pump, hot/cold backup cloning, and production-to-staging migrations.
Security & Auditing: Experience with Oracle Database Vault for data security, rule set configuration, securing application roles, and auditing data changes.
Performance & Monitoring: Database performance tuning, capacity planning, troubleshooting, and run-time event investigation for mission-critical OLTP databases.
On-Call Support: Provided on-call support for production databases, including performance and application-related monitoring.
Implementation: Experience with Oracle partitioning and Golden Gate.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with UNIX, shell scripting, and kernel parameters.
Exadata: Knowledge of Exadata is considered an added advantage.

Problem Solving: Ability to quickly grasp complex technical issues and remain calm under pressure.
Learning Attitude: Appetite for learning new technologies and continuously improving technical skills.
Work Flexibility: Willingness to work in shifts and on weekends.
