About this Role

We are seeking an individual responsible for deploying and promoting applications across Telecom BSS/OSS environments, ensuring system availability, maintaining deployment quality, and supporting projects and testing teams. The role involves incident analysis, automation through scripting, and working with cloud, CI/CD, and containerization technologies

What you will do

  • Deploy and promote application code across production and non-production environments within agreed SLAs.
  • Implement configuration changes and software version updates as requested.
  • Create and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Python, Groovy, YAML, and JSON.
  • Investigate, identify, and resolve incidents, deployment defects, and service requests.
  • Ensure high system availability and adherence to defined processes and standards.
  • Track and improve SLAs and KPIs for the assigned application suite.
  • Drive reduction of incidents, problem tickets, and service request trends.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for incident resolution and project delivery.

Who you are

  • Skilled in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, GITOPS, and GOCD.
  • Experienced with AWS Cloud, enterprise applications, and Agile frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of Unix, SQL, Linux OS, and Vi editor; Windows server knowledge is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience deploying on Apache Tomcat, configuring data sources and/or WebLogic servers.
  • Proficient in Unix shell scripting and Python.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and Telecom concepts.
  • Capable of handling production incidents and collaborating with various teams for issue resolution.2–3 years of relevant experience
