About this Role

We are seeking a Senior EKS Specialist to provide Level 3 operational support for AWS EKS clusters, ensuring stability, security, and scalability for Vodafone enterprise workloads. This role involves managing Kubernetes lifecycle, enforcing compliance, and driving automation and DevOps practices within cloud infrastructure operations.

What you will do

  • Deliver L3 support for AWS EKS clusters and resolve incidents with root cause analysis.
  • Perform Kubernetes upgrades and lifecycle management.
  • Implement security, IAM, and compliance measures.
  • Monitor systems, set alerts, and plan capacity effectively.
  • Automate infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Enable CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  • Troubleshoot networking, storage, and service mesh issues.

Who you are

  • Experienced in AWS EKS and Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Skilled in Kubernetes networking, storage, and security.
  • Proficient with Helm, Docker, container registries, AWS CloudWatch, and IAM.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform and code deployment.
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Automation-first mindset with readiness for on-call support.
    Nice-to-have: Exposure to GKE, Istio service mesh, and telecom/enterprise operations.
