About this role
We are seeking a Network Security Specialist to join our Network Security team at VOIS. This role involves working closely with clients, solution architects, and product development teams to design and implement security solutions for enterprise customers. You will manage projects from design through implementation, testing, and customer sign-off, while providing senior-level operational and engineering expertise. The position requires collaboration with global teams and support for sales and pre-sales activities.
What you will do
- Collaborate with customers to integrate Vodafone Security products and services into their architecture and operations.
- Implement new products and services in coordination with project management and customer teams.
- Provide Level 3 operational support for Change, Incident, and Problem management in complex networking environments.
- Manage incident and change ticket queues effectively.
- Participate in team training initiatives to enhance technical and soft skills.
- Balance business and user needs with technical constraints, recommending alternative approaches and leading engineering efforts.
Who you are
- 7–10 years of experience in network and application security.
- Strong understanding of Network Security, SASE, Zscaler, and firewall administration.
- Expertise in Zscaler offerings including ZPA, ZDTA, and ZDTE.
- Experience in implementing web security solutions such as Secure Web Gateway, Cloud Firewall, DLP, SSL Inspection, Cloud Sandbox, CASB, and Cyber Threat Protection.
- Proficient in Fortinet Firewall and 2FA/PKI infrastructure.
- Excellent communication skills in English; confident working independently and remotely.
- Technical qualifications:
- Expert in any firewall (Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, Fortinet preferred).
- Minimum 4 years’ experience with Fortinet Firewalls, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.
- Expert in proxy technologies (Zscaler preferred).
- Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), ZDTA, ZDTE certification required.
- Fortinet certification is an advantage.
