About this Role

We are seeking a skilled individual to oversee, support, and enhance IMS and CS Core network elements, ensuring high service availability and performance. This role involves incident resolution, proactive monitoring, configuration management, and collaboration with vendors and cross-functional teams. The individual will contribute to service reliability, performance optimisation, and seamless service introduction activity across the voice core domain.

What you’ll do

  • Support and manage IMS and CS Core network elements such as MTAS, CSCF, HSS, IPWorks, MSC, MGW, SBC, and STP.
  • Safeguard service availability through maintenance, monitoring, and resolving incidents.
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to ensure timely support.
  • Analyse service failures, conduct root cause analyses, and implement sustainable resolutions.
  • Monitor KPIs, identify performance trends, and propose improvements to protect network availability.
  • Perform regular health checks, resilience assessments, and proactive service assurance tasks.
  • Configure new number ranges, support fraud barring requirements, and assist in isolating network nodes when needed.
  • Support supplier and vendor management, SLA adherence, and audit preparations.
  • Contribute to change management processes ensuring risk-free implementation of planned changes.
  • Assist in software lifecycle management, including testing and rollout of new software versions.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring clarity in technical updates and issues.

Who you are

Skilled in IMS architecture (CSCF, MTAS, HSS, SBC) and CS Core network components (MSC, MGW).Experienced in telecom protocols including SIP, Diameter, SS7, and SIGTRAN.Knowledgeable in VoLTE or VoNR call flows and IMS registration procedures.Comfortable working in virtualised environments such as VMware, OpenStack, and Linux OS.Able to apply troubleshooting skills using tools and scripting languages (Python or Bash preferred).Adaptive, collaborative, and able to work effectively within a 24x7 operational environment.Holds experience working in multi-vendor environments (Ericsson, Huawei, Nokia).Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Computer Engineering, with relevant certifications preferred.
