About this Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Analyst with expertise in software testing principles, defect management, test execution and Selenium automation. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality software solutions by validating business and system requirements, executing comprehensive testing activities, performing backend and data validation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve quality outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in manual and automated testing, along with analytical thinking and a commitment to quality best practices.

What you’ll do

  • Analyse business and system requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
  • Design test data and execute functional, integration, system and regression testing.Manage defects throughout the defect lifecycle, including defect logging, tracking, retesting and closure validation.
  • Participate in defect triage discussions and work closely with development teams to resolve identified issues.Perform SQL-based data validation and backend testing to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Execute testing activities within Unix/Linux environments and support troubleshooting activities.Develop, maintain and execute Selenium automation scripts to enhance test coverage and testing efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with testing processes, quality standards and industry best practices, including ISTQB principles.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support successful software delivery.

Who you are

  • Experience of 2-5 yrs into testing
  • Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and defect management processes.
  • Good knowledge of SQL, Unix/Linux and data validation techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium automation and related testing tools.
  • Knowledge of Python programming.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • ISTQB Certification is desirable.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
