Role purpose: The Talent Acquisition Services General Manager leads a team responsible for executing and delivering recruitment administration and operational support across Vodafone markets globally. This role holds accountability for the team’s performance in Talent Acquisition (TA) administrative operations, including leadership hiring support, youth hiring processes, vetting administration, and other tailored TA services for various regions. The incumbent serves as the subject matter expert for TA administrative processes, partnering closely with Talent Acquisition Heads across Vodafone entities to ensure seamless support and alignment with market-specific needs.


Key accountabilities
Lead TA team consisting of admin and operation enablers distributed across geographies to deliver the organizational talent acquisition strategy
Lead the Youth Hiring operations team for Vodafone European and African markets
Drive Executive Hiring operations for Group Leadership team to enable a seamless candidate experience 
Enable Executive Talent Market insights for Group Leadership hiring to enable succession management and leadership pipelining
Drive Vetting admin operations for multiple markets by coordinating with candidates, Talent acquisition partners and external vetting agency
Lead the end to end talent acquisition administration for multiple markets
Support talent acquisition purchase order  process administration and execution for markets
Enable LinkedIn Talent Insights as a service
Manage recruitment analytics and reporting of  key talent acquisition performance metrics
Full supervisory responsibility for a team of Talent Acquisition professionals, contributes to team operating standards, sets direction and enables performance.
Responsibility for the team’s day to day delivery of the Talent Acquisition services against KPI’s and project deliverables of the functional Talent Acquisition plan
Leverage systems, applicant tracking tools, and data to optimize hiring processes and enhance team efficiency while adhering to Vodafone process guidelines, relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Knowledge
In-depth understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes, talent acquisition strategies, and candidate sourcing methodologies.
Strong knowledge of recruitment systems, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and data-driven reporting tools.
Familiarity with employment laws, regulatory compliance, and diversity hiring practices.
Awareness of team management principles and the importance of delivering quality hires to achieve business objectives.
Outside in perspective on current market trends and best practices in talent acquisition
Skills
Proven leadership and people management skills, including the ability to coach, develop, and inspire high-performing teams.
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across business functions and HR teams to deliver the talent strategy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to monitor KPIs, optimize processes, and drive operational excellence.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, high pressure situations and foster a results-driven team culture to deliver an exceptional candidate experience


Experience
Minimum 12+ years of experience in talent acquisition/Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Demonstrated success in leading high-performing recruitment teams to meet KPIs and business objectives.
Hands-on experience with recruitment tools, ATS platforms, and data-driven reporting to improve efficiency.

Must have technical / professional qualifications: 
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience in a multinational matrixed organization is a must
