About this Role
We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Architect with over 10 years of relevant ServiceNow expertise to lead the design and architecture of enterprise-grade solutions. The role demands deep knowledge of ITSM, CMDB, CSM, integrations, and service portals, with a strong foundation in scripting and system performance. The individual will be responsible for creating high-level and low-level designs, driving innovation through proof-of-concepts, and translating complex business requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
What you will do
- Lead the design of ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, CMDB, CSM, Event Management, and Service Portal modules.
- Architect integrations involving multiple systems with ServiceNow as the core platform.
- Develop high-level and low-level design documents, internal component designs, and technical documentation.
- Conduct mapping and modelling exercises to support solution architecture.
- Manage system upgrades, cloning, and performance optimisation activities.
- Apply advanced scripting skills, particularly in JavaScript, to develop and customise ServiceNow applications.
- Utilise core technologies including HTML/XML, MySQL, Glide objects, and ServiceNow scripting components.
- Implement and manage ServiceNow integration interfaces such as REST/SOAP APIs, JDBC/ODBC, JSON, and SAML2.0.
- Design and configure UI elements including pages, macros, scripts, policies, actions, and widgets.
- Drive innovation through rapid proof-of-concepts aimed at digital transformation.
- Communicate technical solutions effectively to key stakeholders and business partners.
Who you are
- A ServiceNow expert with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in designing solutions involving multiple systems.
- Skilled in creating HLDs, LLDs, and technical documentation.
- Strong understanding of system behaviour, performance, and architecture.
- Proficient in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting components.
- Holder of at least two mainline ServiceNow certifications.
- Experienced in global corporate services and PaaS/SaaS/IaaS implementations.
- Able to translate business requirements into sustainable ServiceNow solutions.
- Technically adept in ServiceNow integrations, UI configurations, and database structures.
