About this Role
What you will do
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, and custom components.
- Build, enhance, and customise Service Portal features, ensuring effective collaboration with functional and technical teams.
- Deliver and support complex third-party integrations, including web services and plugin‑based solutions.
- Apply strong understanding of CMDB and Asset Management concepts.
- Improve platform stability, performance, and coverage through continuous optimisation and best practices.
- Produce and maintain documentation for development, designs, and configurations.
- Partner with developers, administrators, and business analysts to support seamless communication across technical and non-technical teams.
- Ensure adherence to development standards, security controls, and quality assurance guidelines.
- Share knowledge, provide training, and support team capability building.
- Stay informed about new ServiceNow features, integration tools, and automation capabilities to improve solution delivery.
Who you are
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a ServiceNow Developer or Administrator.
- Strong proficiency in ServiceNow development, including client‑side and server‑side scripting and JavaScript.
- Advanced understanding of ServiceNow integrations and Service Portal development.
- Good knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies, including experience with ceremonies and workflows.
- Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to solve complex technical challenges.
- Effective organisational and time‑management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate in diverse environments.
- Experience leading a team is advantageous.
- Preferred: ServiceNow CSA certification and Service Portal micro‑certification.
