About this Role

We are seeking an IT Development Engineer with hands-on experience in SharePoint Online, SPFx development, modern JavaScript frameworks, and Microsoft Power Platform. The individual will contribute to designing, developing, and enhancing applications and web-based solutions that align with VOIS technology standards. The role is ideal for candidates who enjoy problem-solving, cross-team collaboration, and building scalable digital solutions within an Agile environment.

What you will do

  • Design, implement, and customise SharePoint Online and SPFx-based solutions.
  • Analyse requirements and collaborate with Service Owners and VOIS/Vodafone leadership to translate needs into technical outcomes.
  • Develop client-side components using JavaScript frameworks such as React, Redux, or Angular (v4 onwards).
  • Build and deploy custom workflows and automation using Power Automate/MS Flow.
  • Conduct unit testing and support integration testing activities.
  • Provide daily progress updates to teams and stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues proactively and escalate where necessary.
  • Support cloud-based development activities, with exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure considered an advantage.
  • Contribute within Agile and DevOps delivery environments.
  • Apply foundational understanding of Agentic AI and Co-Pilot agent development where applicable.

Who you are

  • Experienced in SharePoint development (2–3 years) with hands-on exposure to SP Online and SPFx.
  • Skilled in at least one modern JavaScript framework (React or Angular v4+).
  • Competent in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Comfortable participating in requirement analysis, solution design, and technical implementation.
  • Adaptable, detail-oriented, and proactive in addressing challenges.
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Curious about emerging technologies including cloud platforms and AI-driven digital agents.
