About this Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect to shape, design, and deliver scalable, secure, and future-ready digital solutions across channels and products. This is a high-impact role where the individual will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate organisational objectives into robust solution architectures. The role requires strong hands-on capability, deep understanding of cloud-native and microservices-based architectures, and the ability to guide teams from concept through to delivery while ensuring adherence to architectural, security, and privacy principles.

What you will do

 

  • Engage closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective solution designs.
  • Define end-to-end solution architecture ensuring alignment with current and future business needs.
  • Design and review High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) and secure approvals from design authorities.
  • Establish and govern architectural best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.
  • Lead solution adoption by guiding engineering teams through implementation and resolving complex technical challenges.
  • Design and implement cloud-native, microservices-based solutions using Java, APIs, and modern front-end frameworks such as React and Angular.
  • Perform hands-on proof-of-concepts for new tools, services, and emerging technologies including AI, GenAI, and automation frameworks.
  • Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, resilience, and security.
  • Identify security vulnerabilities and assess the impact of emerging and disruptive technologies.
  • Oversee containerisation and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, timelines, and dependencies in a multi-customer environment.
  • Ensure proper documentation, version control, configuration management, and issue escalation where required.

Who you are

 

  • A technology professional with 10+ years of experience in solution architecture or solution engineering roles.
  • Proficient in Java-based microservices, API and web service design, and modern front-end development using React and Angular.
  • Experienced in cloud-based architectures, particularly AWS, with exposure to multi-cloud environments being an advantage.
  • Well-versed in software design, enterprise architecture, UML modelling, and common architectural design patterns.
  • Comfortable working in Agile environments such as SAFe Agile or Scrum.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting complex systems with a strong analytical and problem-solving approach.
  • A clear and confident communicator, able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and effective in diverse, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical discipline.
