About this Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to translate complex Telco business and functional requirements into scalable solution designs. This role involves technical ownership across multiple teams, solution architecture contribution, hands-on coding, and supporting DevOps and production operations. The individual will drive reusable and generic design patterns and ensure seamless technical integration across BSS applications.

What you will do

  • Translate functional and business Telco requirements into comprehensive technical solution designs.
  • Own and govern technical solution design, configuration, and implementation across multiple teams and handle cross-team dependencies.
  • Develop reusable and highly generic technical design frameworks to support long-term scalability.Perform hands-on code development in Java 8 and above.
  • Define and configure interfaces enabling data exchange between services and front-end systems, in collaboration with system experts.
  • Present high-level, solution, and technical design to solution designers, testing teams, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct initial defect analysis and delegate issues to relevant delivery teams.
  • Support incident management and implement workarounds for complex production scenarios alongside DevOps teams.Review code submissions and approve pull requests for technically complex enhancements.
  • Contribute to continuous feature breakdown alongside Product Owners, Product Managers, and System Architects.
  • Support System Architects in creating high-level architecture design.
  • Assist DevOps teams with deployments across multiple environments.

Who you are

  • 3+ years of experience as a Java Designer/Architect in BSS applications, including managing design dependencies across multiple teams.
  • 5+ years of experience as a backend developer using Java, JavaScript, Python, relational databases or NoSQL systems.
  • Expertise in designing reusable, generic, and scalable technical solutions.
  • Overall 7+ years of professional experience.
  • Experience with Automated Unit Testing, DevOps practices, Git, Confluence, JIRA, API design and lifecycle management.
  • Experience in team leadership or guiding technical teams.
  • SAFe Agile experience.
  • Desired certifications: SAFe Agile, AWS.
  • Additional desirable skills: Kafka, caching solutions, relational/NoSQL databases.
  • Educational qualifications: B.E./B.Tech, BCA/MCA, BSc/MSc (Computer Science).
