About this Role

We are seeking a Solution Designer to join our Technology function within VOIS, based in Pune. In this role, the individual will translate complex business and functional Telco requirements into robust, scalable and reusable solution designs across BSS/OSS landscapes. This role  plays a critical part in shaping end-to-end technical solutions, collaborating closely with developers, testers and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality delivery and operational stability.

What you’ll do

Translate functional and business Telco requirements into comprehensive solution and technical designs.
Own end-to-end technical solution design, configuration and implementation, resolving technical dependencies across systems.
Design highly reusable and generic technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
Define and configure interfaces for data exchange between services and front-end applications, in alignment with experts from connected systems.
Present high-level, solution and technical designs to solution designers, testers and DevOps engineers within delivery teams.
Perform initial defect analysis and dispatch defects to appropriate teams for resolution.
Support incident and workaround handling in production environments, particularly during complex failure scenarios, in collaboration with DevOps engineers.
Conduct code reviews and approve pull requests for complex technical changes.
Support DevOps teams during deployments across multiple environments.

Who you are

An experienced Solution Designer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in BSS/OSS environments, translating Telco business requirements into solution designs.
A technologist with 2+ years of backend development experience using technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Python and relational databases.
Experienced in working with Amdocs systems such as OC, OH, SOM or similar platforms.
Skilled in creating highly reusable and generic technical solution designs.
Knowledgeable in Telco business domains, particularly Cable and TV services.
Familiar with TM Forum frameworks (eTOM, TAM, SID, ODA) and REST API design.
Bringing overall professional experience of 7+ years, including exposure to automated unit testing, DevOps practices, Git, Confluence, JIRA and API management.
Comfortable working within SAFe Agile environments.
Holding a professional qualification such as B.E./B.Tech, BCA/MCA, or BSc/MSc in Computer Science.
Additional value through SAFe Agile certifications, AWS certifications, and experience with Kafka, caching technologies and relational databases.
