About this Role
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across Vodafone’s local markets. This role involves designing and building datasets, performing exploratory data analysis, and delivering insights using SQL, Python, and SAP Datasphere. The individual will contribute to the development of semantic data layers on Google Cloud and ensure effective information delivery through BI tools.
What you will do
- Analyse business requirements and extract relevant datasets to generate actionable insights.
- Design data structures aligned with analytics use cases.
- Develop and implement semantic data layers on Google Cloud.
- Build analytical models in SAP Datasphere for downstream consumption.
- Deliver information using BI tools and programming languages.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis and reporting using SQL/Python.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technical teams.
- Ensure timely and quality delivery of assigned tasks.
Who you are
- Proficient in PL/SQL and complex SQL-based ETL development.
- Experienced in exploratory data analysis using SQL.
- Strong communicator with stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented, innovative, and able to work under pressure.
- Familiar with data warehousing and dimensional modelling concepts.
- Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data tools is advantageous.
- Knowledge of SAP Datasphere analytical modelling is a plus.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant hands-on experience.
