About this Role:
We are seeking a Global Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Pune. This role demands proficiency in network infrastructure build and Opex/capex management. The individual will be the point of contact for power and space requests from GNED teams and ITD engineers, responsible for arranging site surveys with 3rd party field engineers, and proficient in analysing survey results to identify cost-saving opportunities.
What you will do:
- Act as the point of contact for power and space requests from GNED teams and ITD implementation engineers.
 - Arrange site surveys with 3rd party field engineers and prepare site audit documents.
 - Analyse survey results and compare them with available site records to identify cost-saving opportunities.
 - Maintain power and space site records up-to-date on SharePoint and flag infrastructure constraints in advance.
 - Support GNED Implementation engineers for delivery, cessation, and reroutes of circuits and small network builds.
 - Design and plan Infrastructure Low Level Design for documenting all infra requirements as per demand from platforms like Tx, IP, MSP, and AS1273.
 - Collaborate with other teams of GNED to provide inputs and ensure successful project delivery.Manage stakeholders, handle priority requests, and manage escalations
 
Who you are:
- You have over 10 years of experience in the Transport network platform and delivery with exposure to design and planning roles in the transmission domain.
 - You possess vendor and supplier negotiation skills.
 - You have a proven ability to investigate problem situations, consider key perspectives, analyse needs, evaluate options, and define user requirements.
 - You are capable of working in virtual teams in a cross-cultural working environment and can handle heavier workloads to drive solutions.
 - You are a strong team player with a proven record of achieving goals.
 - You have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
 - You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 - You maintain agreed SLA/KPI with 100% quality adherence in all deliverables.
