About this role

We are seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to manage end-to-end fixed assets accounting activities, including capitalisation, depreciation, disposals, reconciliations, and month-end close. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, SOX compliance, and effective collaboration with project managers, partner teams, and onshore finance stakeholders.

What you’ll do

Maintain the fixed assets register, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and month-end close activities.Post month-end journals, including Opex to Capex and Capex to Capex transfers, as requested by the business.Prepare and deliver the monthly fixed assets reporting pack.Capitalise projects in the fixed assets register and ensure timely project closures.Design, implement, and monitor controls, procedures, and documentation for capitalisation of fixed assets.Reconcile the fixed assets sub-ledger with the general ledger and resolve reconciling items.Prepare monthly fixed assets balance sheet reconciliations with clear explanations and action plans for open items.Support half-year and full-year audit requirements, providing accurate data and timely responses.Ensure all month-end close activities are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.Conduct fixed assets analyses as requested by management to support informed decision-making.Adhere to risk controls, proactively identify risks, and escalate issues in a timely manner.Follow system controls, business rules, authority matrices, and SLAs to deliver quality service.Take ownership of day-to-day issues and drive them through to resolution.Provide strong support to project managers and partner teams to build effective working relationships and positive feedback.Coordinate closely with onshore fixed assets managers to align with global financial control initiatives.Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared objectives and continuous improvement.Challenge existing processes constructively and propose ideas to enhance efficiency and control.

Who you are

Qualified or part-qualified professional with Inter CA, ICWA, MBA (Finance), M.Com (Finance), or B.Com background.Comfortable working with large volumes of data, performing detailed analysis, and exercising sound judgement.Able to work independently with minimal supervision while seeking guidance when appropriate.Committed to meeting KPIs and delivering accurate outcomes within defined timelines.Knowledgeable about internal controls, audit requirements, and SOX compliance.A collaborative team member with clear communication skills and a proactive mindset.
