About this Role
What you will do
- Maintain the fixed assets register and process additions, disposals, and depreciation.
- Post month-end journals including Opex-Capex and Capex-to-Capex transfers.
- Prepare fixed assets reporting packs and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Capitalise projects and ensure timely closure in the register.
- Develop and monitor controls, procedures, and forms for asset capitalisation.
- Reconcile subsidiary ledger with general ledger accounts.
- Support half-year and full-year audit requirements.
- Conduct fixed asset analyses as requested by management.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end close activities.
- Adhere to risk controls, system rules, SLAs, and authority levels.
- Collaborate with onshore fixed assets managers and internal teams.
- Proactively suggest process improvements and challenge the status quo.
Who you are
- Qualified in Inter CA, ICWA, MBA, M.Com Finance or B.Com.
- 2 to 3+ years of relevant experience in fixed assets accounting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to deep dive into financial data.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Committed to SOX compliance and process accuracy.
- A collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset.
