Description

The Infrastructure Operations Authority provides expert knowledge on the operation and management of central and/or local data centres, legacy and/or centralized infrastructure, standards and requirements to support the availability of Vodafone IT applications and Data Centre activities and database environments. The Infrastructure Operations Authority focusses on activities that ensure the availability and effective functioning of internal network infrastructure, data availability and technical support for customers (internal and external). Including monitoring of hardware and software in datacentres, and executing event/incident, configuration, escalation, release, deployment and 3rd party database management activities. Typically reports to the Senior Infrastructure Manager.

Job Responsibility

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in at least one of these Public Cloud development, AWS, GCP.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with Data Analytics.
  • Experience in working with datasets.
  • Experience in working with/on data warehouses, including data architecture, ETL ools/workflows, and code review.
  • Experience with at least one data visualization business intelligence tool (e.g. Looker, Tableau, PLX, DasNav, Data Studio, etc.).
  • Flexibility to deal with changing environments and priorities in a short space of time.
  • Strong problem solving, relationship building and collaboration skills and ability to learn new methods and processes
  • Willingness to track, assess, and incorporate practice and technology developments into day-to-day working
  • Good understanding of the Public Cloud consumption view, invoicing and optimisation.
  • Understanding of multi-tenant operating model and role base access control.
  • Experience in developing secured designs for Public cloud environments. #_VOIS
